June 13- June 15
We’re putting the final dazzling details together for the best weekend of Sarah’s life (well, until late August that is)! You’ll find all the information below, including a To Do list to help get you ready for the weekend.
Map with weekend destinations can be found here: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zG2RRH1wJhzM.kLywMNpybJBQ
7:30 Dinner at Umi. For everyone coming in Friday, please let Jo know if you’ll be there in time for dinner so she can add you to the reservation.
If you’re arriving after dinner (or during dinner) let us know when you think you’ll get there, so that we can a) make sure there’s a room at the hotel available for you, or either b) let you know where we’re drinking.
12-4 Wine Tasting in Woodinville. Costs listed below. (Meet in lobby at 11:45)
6:00 Bachelorette Festivities at Hotel Andra: Please bring 1 pair of lingerie e.g. underwear/panties/briefs for Sarah! We’re going to have her guess who brought each pair, along with a few other games.
8:00 Drinks and Debauchery in Capitol Hill: Pack a black dress for Saturday night – Sarah will be wearing white + a sash!
We’ve booked rooms at the Hotel Andra, close to Pike’s Place, shopping and the Light Rail! Let us know when you plan to get into Seattle, so we can make sure a room is ready to greet you. Costs listed below.
Address: 2000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121
Parking is available at the hotel for an additional $20. Make sure not to leave anything in the back seat or on the floor; I recommend placing everything in the trunk.
To/From the Airport: Cabs cost about $50, so I would recommend taking the Seattle Link Light Rail ($2.50 each way!) There’s plenty of signs at the airport that lead you to it. You ride it to the very end/last stop. And it drops you off here –only two blocks from our hotel. Easy peezy lemon squeezie.
Getting around Seattle: Cabs are pretty plentiful in downtown Seattle. The hotel will be able to hail you one pretty quickly. HOWEVER one TIP for you: I’d recommend downloading the Uber app as it costs about the same as a cab, and it’s a lot nicer, easier, less sketch than cabs. It’s also super easy to request SUVS (which would really help in a larger group like ours). AND you can also share the fare with friends that have the app… so you should get the app.
TIP: If you don’t have the app, you should download Venmo! It will make paying for everything super easy.
Hotels: With tax, the rooms will cost around $250 per room (roughly $60 per night/four girls per room). We booked this through a corporate discount, so please make sure you have RSVP’d correctly on the Facebook group, so we can book correctly and finalize costs.
Parking is available at the hotel for an additional $20. Make sure to not leave anything in the back seat or on the floor; I recommend placing everything in the trunk.
Wine Tasting: The limo will cost roughly $60 per person. (Tasting fees are usually $5 or waived with purchase.)
Pair of underwear for Sarah! For Saturday night, we’re going to have her guess who brought each pair, along with a few other games.
Meals + Random food and drinks: We’ll try to pick us some stuff for the hotel room ahead of time – so let us know if you want anything in particular.
TO DO LIST
